Blood donation rallies were organized in Nakhchivan on Ashura day
On the 10th day of the month of Muharram – During the voluntary blood donation rallies held by the Ministry of Health of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in connection with Ashura Day, people were united around these moral values and those in need were given life.
The traditional blood transfusions on Ashura Day are held at the Heydar Mosque in Nakhchivan, Sarvans Mosque, Cami Mosque, Babak District Central Hospital in Babak district, Jagri, Nehram, Zeynaddin, Gahab village medical outpatienties, Sharur District Central Hospital, Pusyan Village Mosque and Khanslariya Village Imamzadeh, Ordubad District Central Hospital in Ordubad District, Julfa District Central Hospital in Julfa District and Vaniyariar Village Physician Outpatient clinic, It was carried out at Shahbuz District Central Hospital in Shahbuz district, Kangarli District Central Hospital in Kangarli district, Karabakhlar and Khok village medical outpatienties, and Sadarak District Central Hospital in Sadarak district.
During the action, the rules of sanitation were strictly followed, and all necessary security measures were taken to ensure the safety of donors and medical personnel.
Medical brigades first examined donors to identify arterial pressure, hepatitis, AIDS, and other infectious diseases, and then blood was taken according to the appropriate blood groups. The believers participated in a civil, voluntary blood donation campaign.
In the action, which lasted until noon, 89 out of 227 people in Nakhchivan, 38 out of 95 people in Sharur district, 55 out of 110 people in Babak district, 16 out of 38 people in Ordubad district, 39.5 out of 79 people in Julfa district, 12 liters of blood were supplied to 60 people in Shahbuz district, 32 to 63 people in Kangarli district and 30 liters to 60 people in Sadarak district.
A total of 311.5 liters of blood groups taken from 732 people were identified in double and triple bags to the Blood Bank of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hospital and “Nakhchivan Diagnostic Treatment Center ” duplicate legal entity and “ Perinatal Center of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic ” The duplicate was handed over to the blood booths of the legal entity.
